Bryxx: Crimson Forest #1 Perfect combination of dark fantasy, romance, mystery, and action.

“Tomorrow may be hell, but today was a good writing day, and on the good writing day nothing else matters.”

What a great day today is? Beautiful morning with chirping birds and the sun trying to peek through the clouds. the slow and steady breeze giving a soothing effect to the skin. this is a great day to write about my favorite horror fantasy romance book. the book I accidentally discovered on play books. And it became my 'accidental love affair'.

Bryxx: Crimson Forest #1 By Tarisa Marie

This is a paranormal horror romance unlike other paranormal romances where vampires keep killing and sucking blood of innocents and then justify them. This book contains mystery of a small town Montana which hides a tragic supernatural secret.

Over the centuries, many lives have been lost, many people have gone missing, and many others have mysteriously lost their minds in the blink of an eye, and one of them was May’s mother. She tried to kill May, ten years ago, when she was thirteen. She almost killed her in a fit of madness.

Fortunately May was rescued by her Aunt Becky, who took her to Seattle to keep her safe.

On ten years later, may found out her mother died. Now May was left with a huge farm house which was passed on for generations. She believes the huge house was haunted.

Suddenly on day, her grandmother died sitting on a chair, her father passed out of heart attack, her brother went missing along with his best friend, kai and her mother became lunatic overnight.

That was the reason once she left Montana she never looked back. But now the last living person in her family is dead and she needs money to go to college.

So now she’s in Montana, at her farm house. She knew coming back was a bad idea. The recent mysterious activities in the town brought back the memories and few people from her memories are standing before her.

In the middle of all this, only one person was standing with her was Kade, a mysteriously handsome man who looked out of place.

When she successfully sold the property to Kade, and was returning back Seattle she met with a major accident and the next time she woke up she saw her lost brother standing before her like he never aged a day. Then she discovered the whole new world of immortal super naturals

But dangers followed her to Seattle and they kept following her from around the world. And the only person who could save her is Kade.

Then why Michael said she should run as far away from Kade as possible? Why Kade is the person she should fear the most. What is he hiding? Who is he? Why she should run from a person who saved her at every turn? The person she is in love with and want to be with!

BRYXX Best freaking book I've ever read!!! I'm just so sad that I have to wait for another one to be released. I enjoyed every second I spent reading this book and I’m so glad i found this book. this was the first book ever gave me goosebumps. Tarisa's crazy fantasy ideas really rocked me. In the beginning the horror part was fantastic. It is at times creepy, cold and has a lot of heart too. It gives it a good mix of emotions throughout. This story has a great mixture of immortality, vampires, and romance! I loved the chemistry between Kade and May from the beginning.

“I’ve never not cared about others. It doesn’t matter what species they are. If they are good people, they have my acceptance. I’m not prejudice. Henry once told me that even had people should be greatly respected in some way because they are protagonists of their own stories. No one is born bad. Life makes us swing that way sometimes.”

Marie has created the perfect combination of love, loss, passion and pain, as well as created a world completely unique to any other vampire styled novel I have read. The characters are incredible, well rounded and diverse, I especially love the protagonist "May' and her tenacity, her strength and being able to see her grow in a realistic way really adds to this novel. She is honest and reacts in 'normal' human way, and I love that.

The writing in this novel makes it incredibly readable, each page flows into the next and before you know it, the whole book has been devoured in one sitting. I can't wait to read more in this series!
Great read!
